United We Stand Divided We Fall

Protect Democracy-Our Way of Life
God bless America, the Republic for which it stands; and that, as one nation under God,
we will be firm in our commitment to protect it.
Otherwise, divided we shall fall.
Our form of democracy is precious because it allows opportunities for us to accomplish many of the things that are important to us. Without this ability we cannot obtain all we dream of achieving.
I realize it is possible to accomplish a number of things without a democracy. However, since it is our way of life, it does impact the choices we make and how we live our lives.
We need to cherish the government that we have by doing all we can to protect it. If we are not pleased with the direction of our government, then we have an obligation to do what we can to change that direction.
There are a number of political issues to discuss in this section that leave debris on the road to peace, joy, and happiness. We must clean up the debris before real peace and happiness can exist in society.
We possess the ability to control many of the issues we face today, but some we cannot. We need to distinguish between the ones we can and cannot do something about and try to change things.
We can work on only those we have an ability to change, or those that we can influence change. The important thing to remember is to not worry about these things or panic.
These points are listed as topics divided in catagories, along with some suggestions for what to do about them.

We all have a stake in what happens to America, whether you are an American or not. If you value your freedom in the democracy that you have, then you understand why it is necessary to protect our way of life.
We are all connected to each other now through the Internet, and so we all have a reason to protect America from imploding. The demise of America may already be etched in stone, but it may not be and we may still have a say in what happens in the days ahead. We must stick together and help each other.
Why do you keep using the word “democracy” when the US is not intended to be one? It is a republic.
Democracy means mob rule and the tyranny of the majority.
Oh my goodness, you are right. I didn’t realize I made that goof. I do know it’s a republic. I leave you with a link to show you I do know it but I need to make a post to explain that better on this site. Thank you for reminding me.
